Obvious troll is obvious.
More on-topic though, I'd absolutely put AC2 in my top three games of the year, along with Uncharted 2 and Arkham Asylum.
I'm with you on that one. I thought PoP had a fantastic ending. It went contrary to the normal 'videogame storyline', but it was perfectly in character for the Prince.
I'd say take your racism to the open zone, but I don't even think it belongs there... Halfwit...
I think it looks like it could be a pretty fun game to play. Not $120 fun, mind you, but if the price ever becomes reasonable. And the price WILL become reasonable - given enough time, we'll see the bins at Gamestop just chock-full of plastic turntables, same way that they've been full of plastic guitars for the past year.
I love having the *option* to download games, but I don't think I'm quite ready to go completely media-free just yet. The lack of used-game-market coupled with a competition-free new-game-market (as is the case right now with the PSPgo) just turns me off of it. Plus, I have zero interest in re-purchasing all of my current UMD-based games...
Best troll I've seen today.
I'll be honest, I doubted your potential when I first read it... but then you got bites, so you showed me ;)
Of course, as far as that goes, I wouldn't RATE a game based on someone just telling me about it. Nor should anyone else.
I don't much care what a game scores in the end, but the people reviewing it (in the media OR here in the peanut gallery) should play it.
Agreed. Heavenly Sword was a great time.
If he's playing a pirated copy and is scared of getting caught, then he isn't playing it on XBL with his buddies. I'd kind of like to see the Gamertag too.
Yeah, I call shenanigoats on this review.
When you look at the site's name, then look at how it contradicts itself ('It feels different, you're slower, you can't jump as high; But it's exactly the same as Halo 3!'), the article just leaves a foul taste...
I'm not saying whether the game is good or bad, I haven't played it yet. Just that this is a rubbish review.
lolz
If the worst insult you can give to Prototype is that it's like "Hulk Ultimate Destruction v2.0", then you really should play Ultimate Destruction. It effing rocked, haha.
...gonna get back to playing Prototype now.
Actually, that article is an anti-fanboy article. Best one I've seen yet, haha.
Bubbles to you - AND you get the joy of knowing you were right. Didn't take long at all for the nutters to come out.
This is the best thing I've read from Destructiod in a long time.
I'm not sure what it deserves exactly, as I haven't played the full game yet... but this is a score that gels much better with the written review it's attached to. I'm looking forward to playing the game for myself.
That's cool and all, and I'm glad you like it, but one shouldn't need "quite a PC or laptop" to run a bloody operating system smoothly.
I don't know if you didn't read the review or if you just didn't read my post, friend. I'm saying that the chief complaint in the review is that FEAR2 is more of the same. I get that it's an issue, but I don't get how it's one that should knock 50% off the score.
If you need to bash any game that isn't KZ2 though, I guess that's your right. I can afford more than one game this month though.
I doubt it's as bad as the 360 one... It's at least got a decent shape to it. Not as good as the standard dual-shock, but probably serviceable.
Why would you keep a demo once you've bought the game? :/
Yeah... It doesn't make a whole lot of sense that they give a 5/10 to a game that they repeatedly point out is very "solid".
That said, this is the perfect example of why it's best to read the text of a review rather than just the score. Seems like this shooter will be just dandy for anyone who is a fan of... well... shooters.
Why should exclusivity be an issue? I just want good games.
Well yeah, but it looks like those with XP are still going to be taken care of, provided they stayed current (say, within the past 2 years) and updated to service pack 3. No need for anyone to go dumping XP yet if they don't want to :)
